I slacked off again.

Well... I failed again. A LOT has happened since though... The most important (I think) is... I got officially engaged on September 4th!!!! I'll tell the story, which is generally short. We went and picked the ring out quite awhile ago and I knew that Mike was just waiting for them to call him and tell him it was done (It had to be resized and we were replacing the main diamond for the one that was in my mom's old wedding ring). Well I had been doing something and needed to be picked up so I called Mike for him to come and get me. He didn't answer so I called my mom. After I got off the phone with my mom Mike called me back. He was glad my mom was coming to get me because he had an errand he had to go run... I knew exactly what it was. So I went home and waited for him. He eventually got home and came into my room. He was trying so hard to act nonchalant. He failed. We both had huge cheesy grins on our face. He asked me if I wanted to go on a drive and to dinner. I of course said yes. We drove to the Provo Temple. Some would say that it is such a cliche... well I don't think so. For one, his parents were married there. For two, it has been such a struggle for us to stay in the church that going to the temple was such a testimony to me of how much we both have changed. It was also a symbol of... someday we will be sealed (in the Salt Lake temple though). Anyway, we walked around the grounds a little bit and then we sat on a bench. It was a little awkward and we were both super nervous. Mike then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I had to think about it... Kidding! I immediately said yes. Duh! My ring is absolutely gorgeous and I love it! After I said yes we of course hugged and kissed and then continued to walk around the temple with cheesy grins still plastered to our faces. We then called his parents to tell them and told the news to all of our friends. My mom knew before me and saw the ring before me. We then went to PF Changs and Coldstone. It was a perfect day. I cannot wait till we are married and I am his wife. I am so glad that we have FINALLY made it here.

Right after I said yes.
My gorgeous ring!

Next important... both Mike and I have jobs now. It has made living MUCH easier. Especially since we are trying to plan and pay for a wedding. I'm just goint to post some pictures of the past. It's much easier than trying to explain everything.
